Upcoming Events

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 7 at noon in the Honors Center (WU G25). Bring your lunch and join us. We will be discussing the decorating of the Honors Center for Homecoming Week.
Decorating the center will be done on Friday, November 9 at about 6:00 pm. It will be a potluck event, so bring food and/or snacks to share. Since the theme for Homecoming week is "007-Licence to Thrill", we will decorate the center according to the music of the decades of 60s to the 90s. If you have old posters or the like, please bring this.

Our next movie and discussion night is Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30 pm in Cole Commons (student housing). Pizza and soda will be provided. Please bring snacks to share if you can. The topic is: Genocide and related news.

Updates

Saturday was the Breast Cancer Walk and we had 10 people attending the walk from our group. We exceeded our goal of raising $250 by $205 (i.e. we raised $455) !! Well done!!

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, October 16 at noon in the Honors Center. Bring your lunch and join us. We will be discussing the next movie/discussion night and the upcoming Homecoming Week. We are going to decorate the Honors Center in time for Homecoming.

Our next discussion/movie night is on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:30 pm in Cole Commons.
Our topics are: The impact on American culture by foreign cultures and vice versa and The impact of computer graphics on movie-making. The movie is: "Transformers".
Pizza and soda will be provided.
